Sunny Days

So we've been having some sunny days out here in California! It's great, but at the same time, those allergies keep sneaking up on me (especially with the wind)!!! No matter what kind of allergy medication I take, it still doesn't ever work, and my eyes get all watery, so very itchy and puffy --- it gets to the point where it looks like I've been crying all day or something! And the sneezing never stops!

I have to just tell the kids, "It's OK, you don't have to say 'bless you,' because you'll be sa
ying it all day." So I just keep going on - watery, puffy eyes and all. And we enjoy the sunny days, playing outside with bubbles, sidewalk chalk and the basketball hoop (a new fave of the boys).

And then on the news this morning, we see there might be a slight chance of showers early next week...So I guess we'd better enjoy these sunny days while we can, even if it's windy and making the allergies a bit worse...I'll still make it through the day. I'm a mom, and that's what we do!

Lol I've been having the same problem and I'm not allergic to much. I think it's all the wild mustard, those tall yellow flowers, that are getting to me. It's all over right now and I've been sneezing like crazy! Hopefully we'll feel better soon lol.

I hear you about the allergies, I suffer too. I take an antihistamine, nose spray and eye drops but there are days when even that arsenal doesn't take the edge off. Aaaachhoooo, bless you. :0)

I don't have allergies... must be yuck... good job on pushing through! I love the bubble pic.

it snowed here all day. I would like a sunny day now even though we REALLY need the rain and snow.

I feel your allergy pains!... I get them too.
I had to get a prescription nose spray this year... seems to be working so far!

Every year I add a new allergen to my list of allergies! If mine get too bad I sit in a nice tub (turned into spa) with my air cleaner machine plugged in and some menthol scented aromas and salts and spend a couple of allergy free hours getting all the pollen out of my system. Works great!! Till the next pollen calamity.
