Sunny Summer Question #2 and #3

My sincere apologies for not keeping up with my blog this past week. I haven't been feeling well, and I've had some major headaches. I haven't even had the computer on at all. I really do apologize for not posting, and I hope you understand. Today, I'll post two questions, so that we can attempt to catch up.
If you haven't entered the giveaway with the mandatory entry,or you'd like to get more info, please do so with the following link:

Question #2

What is your favorite summer flower?

Well, one of my favorite wildflowers is the ever-pretty sunflower! I found a picture from (National Park Service). It's such a pretty photo, taken by Jim Pisarowics. The website has loads of great information on the national parks and all the great things you can find within the parks! Check it out when you have time. =)

Question #3

Today the temperature here in Northern CA is supposed to get to 101 degrees! What's one thing you like to do when it gets sooo hot???

My answer: Water play with the kids, of course!!! We don't have a swimming pool, so we make the best of water play. We get little wading pools, fill them with water and fun water toys. The kids like water guns, those Nerf water balls, little water squirters, toy boats...There are lots of things we can find around the house too. Water play is fun, and it cools you off in the summer heat. =)

So, now it's your turn! Leave a comment and let me know what your favorite summer flower is. Leave a separate comment letting me know what you do to keep cool during a hot summer day. =)

So sorry to hear you've been suffering from headaches lately. Hope you are better real soon!

I love roses any time of the year and I stay cool by floating in my pool here in Northern California. It's going to be hot today!

I've been feeling off myself lately and have been a bit MIA. I love lilies, though I don't know what season they are in. And when it is super hot, I love to either go to the beach or (as bad as sounds) sit in a dark, air conditioned room and wait til nighttime! lol

My favorite summer flower is zinnias! I always try to grow them but this year's crop is pretty pitiful...

When it gets really hot (and it does get reeeeeealllly hot here in central texas) I like to stay inside with the air on. I wilt in the heat!
