Breakfast is Important

I'm pretty sure that by now we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? Well, sometimes it's really tough to make breakfast when you're in a hurry. So today I'll share a quick, simple breakfast with you - one that my kids LOVE. It's super-easy!

BREAKFAST PARFAIT
Ingredients:
low-fat vanilla yogurt
fruit of your choice - can be fresh or frozen (& thawed)
Kellogg's® Special K® cereal (or another flake cereal)

In cups or glasses, just layer the yogurt, fruit and cereal, then serve.
I don't measure, I just make what I know my kids will eat. Usually I put these parfaits in 4 oz or 6 oz cups that we have. It's a quick breakfast that they really enjoy!

You can also add your own twist to it. We change the yogurt flavor (lemon is a big hit), try different fruits (the picture shown is a frozen fruit medley, but one of the kids' faves is fresh strawberry & blueberry mix), or leave out the fruits and use granola.
Whatever you do, it's all good!!! =)
Because breakfast is important.

*Kellogg's and Special K are registered to Kellogg's brand.

You are so right. I eat a healthy breakfast on my 3 days off a week but the other 4, I grab a poptart. The box says that they are "fortified" but when you read the label, they are loaded with calories, fat, and sugar.

Thanks for the tip. Sounds quick and easy enough.

Breakfast is always my favorite. I love to make this type of parfait, but this time of year I use lots of fresh fruit.
