Needing Ideas

With Christmas coming soon (sooner than I'd like), I find myself needing some ideas for stocking stuffers (and preferably, affordable stocking stuffers). How about you? I'm trying to think of stocking stuffers that I can remember from my own childhood, and besides the candy - like the multiple packs of LifeSavers in a winter "book", I'm coming up blank.

Actually, I take that back. One year I got a few pairs of earrings in my stocking, and I remember that because my ears weren't even pierced. That being said, I'm going to be on the hunt for affordable stocking stuffers, and I'll share my findings here with you! If you have any ideas for me, submit them here with a comment (or if you're on Etsy, send me a convo with a linky).

For now, I'll share a few of the items in our Etsy shop that could be great stocking stuffers (affordable and fun)!

This is a running tradition in my family -- everyone gets a toothbrush in his/her stocking every year. No one is excited by it, but it adds a little bulk to the stocking haul and is actually useful. My husband is very big on giving mini flashlights in stockings.

Oranges and Walnuts go in every year. If you have extra money the Chocolate Oranges are a nice change from real oranges. :)

Cell phone charms are such a good idea! I used to love starburst when I was young, I like the idea of them being bookmarks. Cool finds.

I love those bookmarks!

We always get an orange in our stocking. A family tradition that dates back to the time when oranges where hard to come by in the winter, and if you did find one, it was expensive.
