That's so true - difficult but when you do it's a huge relief.

A lesson I have had to learn the hard way for sure! I had a friend post something on their wall on FB and I reposted it on my personal FB. It's rather long, but I like sharing it...here goes...

You know that "friend" that always takes your side, that always lets you cry on their shoulder, that always says everything is going to be okay, that one that says they'll never leave your side & that they'll do anything for you...yeah, that one. That's not me. I am not that person. I am harsh, upfront, blunt, to the point & I tell it like it is. WHY? Because the above statement does not describe a true friend. A true friend will tell you the truth, especially when you don't want to hear it. Even when it hurts, they will tell you how selfish you are being, how arrogant you are, they will tell you to pull your head out of your ass, they will grab you by the shoulders and shake you till you come to your senses, they will tell you how pathetic you are being,.... a real friend will drop everything to come to your aid without a single excuse & without asking why. All friends want something from you, a true friend wants something for you. A true friend does not want you to wallow in guilt & self pity, they want you to grow, to mature, to expand your horizons, to move on, live your life free from excuses & to be happy even if you need to shed tears to get there

Great words to remember. I always listen to "Let it Be" by the Beatles, and try to calm my heart when things are upsetting to me.

I also like this quote from Andy Warhol:
"Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they're deciding, make even more art."

Excellent advice, even if it isn't the easiest to follow! Thanks for sharing. :)

Here is mine:
Your thoughts become your reality, and your actions lead you to your dreams.

Have a great week!

This is a great quote! This is something that I've just recently learned how to do. I wish I could have all the time back for the worrying I did about things I have no contorl over.
