Founder George Eastman made the first simple, easy-to-use camera available to consumers in 1888, and a slogan - "You press the button, we do the rest." Kodak is a well-known brand, and I hope they can come out of bankruptcy with success, because there are so many more "Kodak moments" to be enjoyed.
Here are a few vintage Kodak cameras that I found on Etsy! Click on the image to go to the item description.

Always remember the Kodak Moments. I've owned two or three Kodak cameras. Did you (or do you) own a Kodak camera?

What a fantastic post and I SO love vintage cameras so thank you for sharing. It is really sad to hear about Kodak - not sure what happened with that as they were so innovative in the beginning.

PS - thank you so much for stopping by my blog!
i STILL use a kodak camera to take all my website & etsy shop photos...and i love it!!! it may not be as many pixels as newer models and other brands but it's so easy it is to use and get great pics!!! i hope they can hang in there too!
Isn't it hard to believe that Kodak declared bankruptcy? Kodak just seemed like a staple of our lives. Who can forget Paul Simon's "Kodachrome"? Somehow that song wouldn't work with pixels, would it?
Camera are so cool. What a great collection, a couple of those cameras I remember. It is really sad that to here they are filing bankruptcy.

I still have my old Kodak cameras. You know the ones that had the flashbulb that you had to lick your fingers before you removed? Ahhh.. those were the days. Sure hate that all the good stuff is falling by the wayside. Very sad.
I never owned a Kodak camera, but I went through a lot of their film over the years.
I'm so sorry to hear about Kodak's bankruptcy. The last time we were in Albuquerque during the Balloon Fiesta, there were "It's a Kodak Moment" signs every where.
My dad had one of these. This has brought back memories. Thanks for sharing.
Happiness to All !
