Your Favorite Valentine?

My daughter is super busy fundraising for a summer program she was recently nominated for called the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. I will be doing a separate post soon to further explain the forum and what it's all about. For now, I wanted to show you some of what we're doing to raise funds for her to attend this prestigious program.

Yes, we are selling our chocolates to her high school teachers and
friends, neighbors, and anyone else who is wanting to buy some yummy homemade chocolate-y goodness (and for a good cause)! We had no time to list the item pictured above in Etsy, but our local orders have been zooming.

Lots of people give jewelry and/or chocolate for Valentine's Day. So I ask you...What was your favorite Valentine received? For me, it's the little handmade cards and picture frames I got from my kids a couple of years ago. =)

Happy Friday!

I've never really been into Valentine's Day, but sometimes my husband and I will make each other cards. One year he made one for me that was a parody of an action movie, and he burned the edges of the paper to make it look like it survived a bomb explosion. Hilarious.

Congratulations to your daughter Kim, what an honor for her. Sounds like your fundraising is a success. I too can attest by my ever expanding butt that Just's treat are fabulous! My favorite valentine's gift was a diamond bracelet from my ex which appeared on my charge card the next month....LOL! Actually my son always gives me some little cutie.

That looks so yummy. You definitely need to post it to Etsy next year. Those will sell like hotcakes!

As for my favorite Valentine's gift...well...I would have to say that getting married the week before Valentine's Day was the best gift I've gotten.

Congrats to your daughter! That's awesome! My favorite Valentine gift ever received was the flowers my husband sent me last year. He works on the road with a band and I was really bummed not to be able to spend Valentine's day together. I know flowers are cliche, but he was so careful at picking out my favorites and the note was incredibly sweet. :)

Cute chocolate! I'm a chocoholic and not afraid to admit it. My favorite thing are the notes my husband writes in my card.
