One Way to Go Green

One way to go green...Save water!  Decrease the amount of water you use.  Sometimes even the smallest things matter.  This is one of them.

We taught our kids to turn off the water while brushing their teeth (it took our youngest son awhile to learn to do it, though).

What is one way you go green or one way you try to save water?

Always good to start them young. We have a European washer/dryer that saves energy and water.

during the summer, when the kids get dirty, I just toss them in the pool. chlorine water makes them just sparkle. LOL.

If everyone pitched in and did this, we would save a lot of water. Every person makes a difference in the big picture!

It is sometimes a challenge to figure out what can be reused or repurposed. I was happy to hear my youngest daughter say she heard my words in her head one day and decided to "make do" with what she had on hand rather than buy new.
We have always worked to conserve water in our home since our water comes from our well. Summertime is always a challenge because of our gardens. We measure rainfall!
