Red Shoes

Have you ever owned a pair of red shoes?  I never have, but I also never needed red shoes either.  My daughter really, really, REALLY wanted these red shoes for Homecoming.  I must say, they are pretty dang cute!

I remember going shopping for a pair of shoes for a Homecoming Dance, and they turned out to be white heels.  It was fun shoe shopping together - a great mother/daughter moment, ya know?

Shiny Red Shoes
We got them from Macy's on sale for less than $30!
 They're by Chinese Laundry.

I don't know how many outfits she'll be able to wear these with, but I do like them.  I'm just waiting for the day she asks for more clothes that she can wear with these red shoes...I know it's coming!

What do you think?  If you had or have a pair of red shoes, did/do you wear them often?

Those are so sweet looking! I rarely wear red so no red shoes. If I was younger, I wouldn't mind getting a pair like your daughter's.

Those are cute! Yes I have red shoes..and red boots..and red cowboy boots! I like to wear them even just with jeans to add some pizazz. You really must buy yourself at least one pair..life is too short to go red shoe-less! Dorothy and the Wicked Witch cannot be wrong!

I have never owned a pair- I tend to stay away from Red/yellow/orange - I can never pull it off :)

I must say they are quite pretty though! :)

How cute and what a great deal! I had a great pair of red flats with a bow, loved them so much! It's a great way to add a burst of color, and when I used to work at Target it went perfect with the uniform (khakis & a red shirt!).

Sure, I have owned several pair of red shoes during my working life in Paris, and I loved red bags, too , to go with. Now I live in the country , don't work (retired and artist) and wear flats shoes and logs...
Btw, I like your style of red shoe, it's the model in Sevilla they wear to dance flamenco!

I love mary janes and red ones are even better! Macy's always has some really great shoes. I love the shoe selection at Nordstom as well unfortunately we don't have one where I live. The one in Columbus was awesome though.
