Always a Good Read

There was a lot of reading done over the winter vacation.  No, not books for me, but lots and lots of children's books!  Children's books are always a good read, though.  Always.

Here's one that we read over and over (and over and over again).  Have you read it lately?  It sure is a fun one!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Bill Martin and illustrated by Eric Carle

And here's one that became a new Christmas favorite (we read it every night for a week before Christmas).  Gotta love the entire Pete the Cat series written by Eric Litwin and illustrated by James Dean!  We'll still be reading this Christmas one for quite awhile too, I'm guessing.

What have you been reading lately?  If you have a suggestion for my reading list, please share it with a comment.  I'm ready for a grown up book.  =0)

Happy Friday, and thanks for stopping by!

My daughter is obsessed with Brown Bear, Brown Bear. If we aren't reading that one, we read Goodnight Moon. It's another favorite that my mom read to me when I was little =)

I haven't read Pete the Cat but I'm not too old to read it! I don't think I will ever outgrow "children" books and I still keep them in our bookshelf. My kids enjoyed Bad Kitty and SkippyJon Jones.

I'll have to look for Brown Bear at the library, haven't see it before, and we have one book by the author that my son loves, Captain Tom Cat.
