First Pictures with my New Camera

So last week I showed you what I got for a late Christmas present.  Well, today I'm sharing a few nature photos taken with my new camera!  Took these on a walk from Sunday afternoon...

This bird was perched here on the tree branch when we left for a short walk, and it was still there when we got back.

A pretty flower that somehow survived the frosty mornings of the past few days.

Fun with a leaf!

Looking at the bare trees of winter...

This plant is from a neighbor's yard. Does anyone know what it is? I like it.

Just a few random nature shots that I thought were pretty fun.  What did you do over the weekend?

Oh, and don't forget that today's the last day to join the Meet & Greet blog hop until this next weekend! Come join the fun and link up - just click the image below.

Happy Monday!

These pictures bare truly a beautiful part of nature . The plant you saw in you neighbour's yard is Date Tree , but is so small now . These trees takes years to grow up :)

Lovely pictures! There is something so incredibly beautiful about a leafless tree to me!

I have one of those plants in my yard too! My dad likes to collect the seeds, and save them. Not sure why though. Lol.

Congratulations on the new camera! It takes beautiful pictures. I'm jealous because I've not been happy with mine most recent one so I switched back to an older one.

Is that a hawk in that tree?
