Kendama Craze

Back in October, I posted about a toy that my oldest son really wanted for Christmas - The Kendama (you can read the post HERE and learn about this pretty cool toy).  Well, we got him one for Christmas, and Kendamas are all the craze now in our area for the older kids.  Both my sons have fun with they toy, along with their friends, and they even get adults trying it out.  My son has a mini collection now and hopes to get even more soon.

This is his latest one, a yellow Pro Model from KendamaUSA, and it's his first Pro Model (he wants all of the Pro Models, as each has a laser engraved signature).

I had recently done another Etsy search for handmade Kendamas last month and found one.  I had it added to my favorites, but now it's no longer available. =(  I was hoping to find a handmade one for him from Etsy.  Maybe I'll find one in time for his birthday coming up in May.  For now, he's pretty happy with his purchase (bought with his own money).

Is there a specific toy craze going on in your area right now?

Looks neat. It would be very cool to find a handmade one on Etsy for his birthday!

Hmmm...that's new to me. Looks fun! Other than all that shuffling, I'm not aware of a toy craze here. It'll be great if you could find handmade Kendama!
