Meet everyone!
This week's Get-to-know-YOU Question:
What is the funniest thing you have heard a child say?

Laurie, from Created by Laurie:
A friend of mine was introducing her 4 year old to his n ew brother at the hospital.  When he saw his brother he asked, "Where'd you buy him?"  A very cute moment!

MY answer: Well, we all know that kids say some crazy things...I can't really think of one thing right now, though!  It's been a busy week, I guess.  LOL  I'm a bit scatterbrained!

Sandy, from Savard Studios:
My 3 1/2 year old niece told her mother that she broke up with her boyfriend because he held her hand and messed up her nails.  Where do they come up with this stuff?

Noor, from Noor's Place:
The funniest thing a child said, well that was for me.  A little girl, she said I looked like Angelina Jolie in front of my school.  That was quite shocking because I do not look like her.  I laughed so hard that everyone else was trying to figure out what was the matter.  I looked a thousand times in mirror to make her statement truth.  But of course, it was the funniest thing for me :)

Now it's YOUR turn to answer!
What's the funniest thing you've heard a kid say?

Hello! Hello! I'm new to this one and it looks like fun!! Yaay! Funniest thing is my little one insisting that Mickey Mouse is Elmo. He gets crazy when we say that is not his name. So, Elmo it is until he finds out later :)

Thanks for hosting this fun party each week~ I took my daughter to the Doctor because she had an ear-ache, when the Doctor said to her, "So tell me, where does it hurt?" My daughter replied, "My a$$ hurts!" She was 2 1/2 at the time.

I was babysitting my friend's kids and the 5 year old needed help in the bathroom. I was holding the infant, feeding her, so when he yelled "can you wipe my butt?" i told him i couldn't get up and maybe he could just try himself? His response was "Ok, and how about then I'll come out and show you my butt and you can tell me if I need to go back and do more!" He'll be 18 this fall and I am just dying to tell him this story!!

My baby cousin Grace became a big sister again this past spring, she was 3 at the time and already having a baby sister she came to an agreement with my aunt, her grandmother, that if the new baby was another girl she would be happy to let her trade her in for a boy at the hospital, she ended the agreement with the innocent question, "they do that right, grandma?!" She is now the proud older sister of 2 younger sisters and refused to let them trade her in once she had held her:)

Hi Thanks for hosting. Funniest thing I heard was, my grandson Zeke. I picked him up from school and was going to pick up his brother. Zeke says to me (Grandma) "Grandma, we better hurry it is going to rain soon" Grandma "How do you know it's going to rain" Zeke "Because those clouds don't look happy"

When travelling to my husband's family home, we often saw deer and watched for them. Once our son said, "I hope we see a whole flock of deer!" Sweet boy! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures

Well Hello all! I've joined in the Blog Hop for the first time- so fun!!! In answer to the question: many years ago our entire family was watching old home movies from my husband's childhood. Many were in Black/White, many in color. One of my nephews asked his mother when the world had changed to color! OMG! Brilliant observation!!!

Thanks again for hosting!!
I don't have any children so my exposure to possible funny comments by children is very limited. My little sister said many funny things when we were young but it would be one of those "had to be there" kind of moments.

Another great blog hop : )

My story is much the same as Cheryl Nicholl's.

When my daughter was about 5, she asked me if the world was black and white when I was younger. Without thinking, instead of explaining that the world has always been in colour. I told her 'I'm not that old!'
