Oklahoma, You'll be OK

It's unreal that we have to see yet another devastating natural disaster take the lives of so many.  It's heartbreaking when I think about an entire part of a town being wiped away in just a matter of minutes.  Homes taken, lives lost, and those still searching for their loved ones.

A a few Etsy friends live in OK.  It's important to remember that people are strong and resilient, but thoughts, prayers and support can go a very long way.  People of Oklahoma, you'll be OK.  It's hard right now, and recovery is not easy, but you'll be OK.

One Etsy friend (an Etsy Rock Star) living in OK has shared a couple of items for sale with proceeds benefiting the disaster recovery efforts.  I thought I'd share them here with you as well.  And remember that you can always donate at RedCross.org, where your donations are indeed greatly appreciated and put to good use.

Available in a variety of colors by Rainbow Swirlz

If you know of any more Etsy shops giving proceeds to this cause, please leave links in a comment.

Please keep the disaster victims and survivors in your thoughts and prayers.  Thanks for reading.

Thank you so much for sharing this! Anything we can do to help is amazing. I know that everyone appreciates it more than words can express.

Thanks. It's round 2 now. No tornados, but these winds are strong enough to break windows out. I'm staying on the west end of our house. Thankful to still have windows left after yesterday. I appreciate what you are doing.

Sharing is caring, I just posted a bit about that today as well. Maybe I should think about donating some of my sales too. Great post and I will pass the word along.
