My #WeekBackup

I'm so glad to be participating in the #WeekBackup link up with my favorite twins in the Blogosphere, Noor from Noor's Place and Areeba from Aree with Umbrella.  It's the first link up, so if you want to join next week, let's make it a date!  So let me get started now with my week in review...

My Food of the Week will definitely have to be the Red Velvet White Chip Cookies that I made for the first time.  If you like red velvet cake, I'm sure you'll love the cookies too.  Click the image to get the recipe!

I found this on Etsy and faved it right away (image is clickable - it's available for purchase - and I also pinned it here).  I LOVE it!!!

This has been a really popular pin on my Pinterest boards, and it's also my saying for the week!
I don't like Pinterest's new way of embedding pins, so the image is clickable, and the link is also directly below.  Feel free to re-pin, if you like.  =0)

I'm loving this song right now, and it's been playing in the car every time we get in to go somewhere!  Then it gets stuck in my head.

My younger daughter dropped my older daughter's Nintendo DSi into the toilet...Not pretty!  It was soaked, and by the time we found a tiny screwdriver to unscrew the battery, damage had already been done.
I'll try to get a photo before I post this, but I'm sure you can imagine the screens completely soaked with water.  =(

And that's my #WeekBackup post for this week.  Hope you had fun, because I know I had fun preparing the post.  Share something from YOUR week with me with a comment.  =0)

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a great weekend!  Today is also the last day to link up your family friendly blog at Meet & Greet.  Just click the button below to join us.

Oh NO! Did you try putting the nintendo into a bag of rice mixed with rice flour? it's supposed to draw out the moisture. I had a friend making her phone work again with this trick!

Oh no! That is not good about your daughters Nintendo DSi, I can't imagine how upset she was, I know I would be! :(
Great quote and song choices for the week too.

I hate it when someone drops a device into water. I've heard some horrible stories about people dropping their cell phones in the toilet before.

The cookies look yummy, and I love the beach heart photo. Too bad about the Nintendo DSi!
