In My Backyard

Last summer we got some surprise sunflowers in our backyard, and this summer...It happened again!  We planted seeds two years ago, and we keep getting surprise sunflowers now (I love it!).  Take a look...

Four different kinds!  I don't know what kinds they are, but they sure are pretty.  I love sunflowers!

Do you get any surprise flowers in your yard?

Happy Friday, everyone!  Don't miss tomorrow's post for #WeekBackup and #AskMeSatz with my favorite twins in the blogosphere.  I'll be there, and I hope to see you there too!

Also, there's still time to link up with us at Meet & Greet!  So come join the fun (pssst...there's a giveaway too!).

So pretty -- it's interesting how they are different varieties! I have a couple of rogue irises that pop up each year. I didn't plant them and I don't know where they come from, but they appear every year!

We have several bird feeders. During winter we rotate them around to different locations so the birds will 'plant' them for us! We never really know just where the will grow. 'Love surprises! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures

Beautiful! My larkspur have bloomed, but that's about it. Waiting for my lilies, columbine, and I think I planted a dahlia too... in a seperate garden bed, we planted tons of sunflowers. they're growing like weeds... just not blooming yet... Can't wait!!!

We moved int a new house in the winter with a big yard. It was so wonderful to find that we had some many beautiful flowers and yard. The greatest find was a hidden Chinese pagoda sculpture covered by all sorts of weeds!

Lovely post!
