Time for #WeekBackup

It's that time again...Time for a #WeekBackup post (especially because I missed it last week)!!!

I'm not really sure if Noor will be posting the #WeekBackup linky today or not. You may or may not know, but it's the twins' birthday today (the 16th).  If you get a chance, head on over to Aree With Umbrella and Noor's Place and wish my favorite twins in the blogopshere a big Happy Birthday!

from Altphotos

This week was all about Back-to-School, and I had done a search for some "reading" photos to inspire and motivate my boys to get back to some reading during the summer time.  Each summer, they participate in a Summer Reading Challenge, and we post reading reminders around the house.  The above photo wasn't one that we used, but it's one that I found on Etsy, and I thought it was really cool.  The whole shop Altphotos is full of great photos like this one, and it's a fairly new shop, so you should check it out!

Getting back to school means getting back to early mornings!  NONE of my kids are morning people, so this is always a challenge.  Definitely consider it the trouble of the week for us!

This is the song of the week, my two sons' pick, actually.  =0)  Gotta let them be involved in the blogging now and then!

Being that they're not morning people, sometimes it's hard to get them to eat breakfast. Sometimes we have to use a little strawberry jam as incentive...Do you have a favorite Go-To Quick Breakfast?

What are the highlights of YOUR week? Share it and join us with your #WeekBackup at Noor's Place! Don't forget to tweet it with the hashtag. =0)

Meet & Greet is still open too, if you haven't joined us there yet!

I am not a morning person at all, and tend to have trouble eating rite away, but if I do it's usually a protein or granola bar. OR if there's chocolate around...I'm all for that! He he.

My oldest is participating in a summer reading challenge as well. She's loving it.

I love English muffins with jam... sweet simplicity.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.

I love bacon for breakfast! I put it into the oven, and let it bake for about 10 minutes! :)

Good luck getting back in the school groove!

I played the whole Maroon 5 song. I like their sound!

These do look delicious! I'm always in a hurry in the morning so I make up some cooked eggs the night before so that all I have to do in the morning is toast an english muffin, slap on my cooked egg, some precooked sausage, and cheese. Pop in the microwave and eat. Takes about 5 minutes to make my breakfast!
