Which One is Better?

There's hype about Apple once again, as the reveal of the newest iPhone is rumored to be set for September 10th. As just about one of the only people to NOT have a cell phone (at least, it always feels that way), I'm wondering which phone do YOU think is better? It's been a battle between Samsung and Apple for quite some time. Now that Samsung's Galaxy s4 is out, Apple is ready to reveal the next generation iPhone (of course).

So I'm asking you...If you had to choose between buying the new Apple iPhone or the newest Samsung Galaxy phone, which one would you choose and why? Which one is better?

I've been thinking about getting a phone for a little while now, because if we start doing craft fairs, then I'd like to be able to accept credit cards. With a smartphone or tablet, we would be able to do that. I can really live without a mobile phone, though. That's probably something easier said than done for most of you. But I'm OK without one. Really.

Do you have a smartphone? What kind do you have, and - are you happy with it?

I have the samsung s4 before this I had the s3. I personally have never had a iPhone but I do really like my Samsung. I know a lot of people who have iPhone's but im not a fan of broken screens and with having kids and a little one who likes to play with mommys phone for me that's a big deal. My phone has been dropped quiet a few times and it's still ok :) I also wouldn't want to have to buy apps from only apple. I get all the free ones I like from the play store on my phone.

For me it's neither. Rather than a smartphone, I prefer my iPad. I like the size (yes, it's larger by quite a bit, but that makes it easier to type). There are apps on my iPad that help my business, JSB Arts, not to mention the games and such. :) I have a regular pre-paid phone from Verizon and it works just fine for me. I pay $20/month for my 3G capabilities for my iPad and $50/month for my phone, through Verizon. Try finding a smart phone with a data plan (because you have to have a data plan) for less than $70/month.

I'm currently with Samsung and I think they're providing many services in a reasonable price. Apple is awesome , no doubt that but they're extremely pricey. Last year, iphone 5 didn't impress much. So I think you should go for Samsung! :)

I have an S3 and will never get an iPhone. I love the customization of Android phones (different size and style widgets for most programs). iPhones seem so blah. My S3 is the best smartphone I have had. When it is time to renew I will get whatever Samsung Galaxy that is new then.

I really like the Samsung brand, so i'd probably go with that. However, apple is really popular, and you know that it will be a great phone.

I'm actually a fan of Samsung. I used to have a blackberry but I have since given up my smartphone for a basic Samsung phone.

I'm not fan of Apple products in general. They are fairly easy to use but I hate that they constantly have updates and that you have to use certain adapters for their ipods or iphones. Just annoying.

I may go back to a smartphone but it's nice not being constantly connected.

I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S2 in white, I've had an iphone 4s. My little sister has the iphone 5. My overall opinion on this is the Samsung Galaxy S4 is a much better product. I'm actually waiting for them to roll out with the mini, because the phones a little to big for my taste. The thing with iphone is that you always need your computer to do everything...need to update ...get your computer out. Need music ...get out your computer out, etc. So if you want your computer to be involved than the iphone is for you. If you just want to do things without the computer android is better.
The other thing is, the samsung galaxy white exterior is nicer than iphones white!! This is so funny, because my little sister was obsessed with the white iphone, when she finally got it, the first thing she said was the samsung galaxy has a better white color. Anyways, that's just my humble opinion.

I have an iphone 4s, and while I like how easy it is to use, I don't particularly love it. I think I would pick up the Galaxy S4 in a heartbeat, because you can go underwater with it. Which makes it great for those of us who are clumsy and have a tendency to spill liquids onto our electronics.

I'm sure all the iphones are great. I'm an Android girl myself. Should I have admitted that? I do like the Samsung name.

I love my smartphone and would hate to be without it. I also carry my Nexus7 with me in my purse because I find myself using that a lot.

I love apple. Even before I had an iphone I always had problems with android... my phone was constantly breaking with the plastic and the battery I felt like I had to charge at least twice a day. I find apple to be a lot easier to use plus I like having my phone music and apps all in one place rather then having mulitple devices! But that's just me.

I like my iPhone and I don't want to switch. My husband has a Samsung, as does my oldest son. Whether or not, its better, I don't know, but I don't feel like learning something new.

I was never a fan of the iPhone! My sister and her entire family used to have one but they always admired my phone so much more they ended up buying new ones. I've been using a droid for quite some time and the Droid Razr Maxx is by far my favorite because of it's awesome battery life (it lasts forever) :o) Of course, the camera phone isn't that hot, but I guess you have to pick and choose what's important to you. Great post and thanks so much for linking up to The PINcentive Blog Hop!

Hope you're having a great Thursday :o)
