Diamond Candles are a Girl's Best Friend {Product Reivew & GIVEAWAY}

This has to be one of the funnest (Is that even a word? If it's not, it's still what I would use to describe this.) product reviews that we've done - ever. My family and I did this review together, because, I'm telling you straight up -

I mean, we really LOVE these candles!!!

Watch this less-than-two-minute video to learn about Diamond Candles.

So now that you have some background info, let me tell you about the packaging. I love it. The kids didn't really care that much, but I thought the packaging was great. The cardboard insert hugged the candle very snugly and nestled in its box just right. You can be assured that your candle wasn't bouncing around during shipment. Pull out the insert, and this is what you see:

I love eco-friendly companies. These are soy candles, by the way - earth friendly with a clean burn, so two thumbs way up! It's always good to go green.

Next, let's talk scent. I chose the Cupcake Scent. I first lit the candle while the kiddos were at school. When they walked through the front door, the first thing they asked was "Are you baking a cake?" Yes, my friends, that's how good it made the entire house smell - like I was baking a cake! And they were a little bit disappointed that I wasn't baking a cake.

When I explained the concept of Diamond Candles to my family, they were excited right away. "In every candle, there's a ring?" my youngest son asked. And I answer now for all of you too - Yes, there's a ring in every candle! Granted, they're not all diamonds, but in each candle there is a ring that's valued at anywhere between $10 and $5,000! "So, it's like a treasure hunt?!?" asked my son. Yes, yes it is!!!

And a treasure hunt it was. I burned the candle every day for at least one hour or so. But my boys...They're impatient. This is what happened...

Ummm....Yeah. My youngest boy tried to find a short cut to finding the treasure! When I saw it, all I could say was "Nooooooo!!!" I had to explain to my him that, yes, while it's like a treasure hunt, you can't dump out my candle to find the treasure any faster! That wastes the incredibly yummy-smelling candle. (You have to give him credit, though. He was just trying to get to the ring quickly!) From that point on, we all agreed to enjoy the scent and WAIT for the treasure. I actually even moved the candle to my bedroom for awhile too.

And so here's the reveal...

It's just fun burning this awesome-smelling cupcake candle and finding a "treasure" inside. Not to mention, after you find your ring, you still have the rest of the candle to burn!

The longer process...

Does our family LOVE Diamond Candles? Oh, yes we do! Do we want to get another one real soon? Oh, yes we do! Why? Because, in the words of Diamond Candles...There's a...

Right now their Winter Candle Line Up is ready for you to dive into, so what are you waiting for? These make GREAT gifts, or you can spoil yourself!
I think my favorites are the foodie and fruity smells. How about you?

I absolutely love candles and what woman doesn't love jewelry? So, the idea of a candle with a ring, well, it's just genius. I would absolutely love to win one of these candles and love that I'd get a ring to treasure long after the candle is gone. Of course who wouldn't hope for the high dollar real ring, but I'd even be thrilled with a ring like yours, as it's pretty and a great keepsake to remember the fun. Can't say I blame your son for trying to get the the prize sooner, sounds like something my step daughter would attempt if allowed, but Im such a candle lover that burning and enjoying the candle would be half the fun and I wouldn't wAnt to rush it. I love the scent of fresh washed clothes and how that smell lingers and makes everything smell so nice so I'd choose the sun washed scent if I win to enjoy that scent in a candle. Thanks for the chance to win! And thanks for the great review.
