I Got All my SITStahs with Me

I'm so excited that today is my day as featured blogger over at The SITS Girls! If you read the title, you might be singing. Wait...I think I can even hear it...

We are family,
I got all my SITStahs with me!

Thanks for stopping by. If you're new here, I hope you'll stay awhile and have a peek around. Leave me a comment - I'd love to get to know you and be bloggy friends (don't forget to leave me your blog url). If you're a regular reader, I hope you'll still read this, because you might learn something new about me that you never knew.

Follow me on bloglovin or networked blogs, or good old GFC (on my left sidebar). You can find me on the social networks listed on my right sidebar, but I'm also on StumbleUpon, Instagram, Polyvore, & Wanelo, if you feel so inclined to follow me there too.

* I blog about, well, pretty much everything! Life isn't limited to just one category, right?
I blog about it all - parenting, family life, toddler stuff, teenage drama, cooking, baking (more baking than cooking), eco-friendly life, some fashion & a little beauty, some handmade and a little crafty...It's great to be in the category of "everything else," I think!

* When I created the facebook page for our small business, it was my first time on facebook.
Ever. Really. I had no idea what I was doing. I messed up - a lot - and now my personal profile name is justbyou kim. Whoops! Oh well, it still works. And my profile picture is the crystal ball you see up above. Should I change it? It's been the same since I opened the account.

* My favorite colors: shades of blue, purple & shades of gray - and I like to see all three together. Can you tell from my blog design?

* I have four kids.
Ages: 2, 7, 11, 16. They drive me crazy, but I love them more than words could ever describe. Even though I yell, we yell, we argue & fight, get frustrated...At the end of every day, we're still family. I'm still their mom and they'll always be my kids.

* I've been a stay-at-home-mom since my youngest son was diagnosed with severe eczema at 6 weeks old.
That's seven years. Seven years! Staying home has advantages. I love being able to drop off/pick up my kids from school and volunteer in the classrooms and all that. But I do miss the workplace sometimes. I would count that as my "get away" - you know - from laundry, dishes & cleaning house. Being a stay-at-home-mom doesn't mean you don't work!

* I had no idea that blogging would be an opportunity to meet so many amazing people.
I'm really a home body, so blogging is my escape. It's my "get away" from home now instead of going to a workplace. It's my time for me. I love reading people's blogs, and learning so much from so many different bloggers. I've met so many great people through blogging. People that I can honestly say I call friends. I'm thankful for my blog, my readers, my friends.

* I'd love to visit New York some day. Paris, France. Rome, Italy. Some. Day.
New York is a definite one that is on my bucket list (it just seems more do-able). France and Italy, well, maybe eventually. For now, Paris is with me on my walls. Photo above is the newest print for my wall, from LanasArt.

So that's a little bit about me.  =0)

One more thing. Tomorrow is Friday. We can all appreciate that, right? Well, I'm silencing my twitter tweets in honor of the one week mark of the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan (aka Yolanda). All day, my tweets will be dedicated to the news, information and relief efforts for the victims and survivors in the Philippines.

Join me tomorrow and tweet for a cause. There are so many in need of basics, like food and water. Tweet or Retweet. Just spread the word. My twitter handle is @shopjustByou. Thank you in advance. Let's make a difference. Together.

Oh, and for the first time ever, I've got more than three giveaways going on
at the same time. LOADS of great prizes to be won, so I hope you'll click through my right sidebar and enter at least one.

Have a wonderful day, and thank you for visiting me on my SITS Day! Peace out, SITStahs!

Great post. A mom of 4 you must be a busy lady! I really want to visit Italy as well but this Aug I went to Paris and it was even better than I expected you are going to love it! I have some great photos of Paris under my travel tab.

The situation in the Philippines is devastating. I am going to send some money to the Red cross for relief efforts. I can't even imagine what it would be like.

Happy SITS Day! I hope it is an amazing one for you! I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3 (3, 9 and 11), and I also homeschool my 2 oldest via online school. Life is never dull! :) You are so right; just because you stay-at-home doesn't mean you don't work!!!

Thanks for sharing all those fun facts about you! Lovely to meet you, now if only we could do coffee! We have almost identical aged kids except I didn't go for the 4th (saints preserve me). I hang out over at www.ritewhileucan.com should you ever want to drop in for that coffee. :)

Happy happy SITS day! Hope you don't mind if I look around a bit. I heard you bake? I'm here for the cookies. Hee.

I think it's wonderful that you are getting involved in a Twitter event for the people of the Philippines. So incredibly sad, but hope this can bring more awareness/raise funds for so many who need it right now. XOXO

I didn't realize you have 4 kiddos! That is a handful! It will be so great to watch them grow into adulthood. :) You will get to those destinations some day with proper planning. It will be well worth it. That typhoon is such a tragedy. I can't even imagine!
