Protected by Armor {Tech Armor Product Review}

A short while ago, I posted about an awesome screen protector on my daughter's phone. You can read about that HERE

The screen protector has saved my daughter's phone at least three times. Not only that, but we also ordered two more screen protectors from Tech Armor and used their coupon code for 15% off! That's how much we like those Ballistic Glass Screen Protectors

Well, Tech Armor later sent us a product to try out for the purposes of a product review too. We were sent the Kindle Fire HDX 7 Anti-glare Screen Protector 3-pack. My kids received a Kindle Fire HDX for Christmas, but they did not have any accessories for it whatsoever. So I was thrilled to be able to try out these screen protectors from Tech Armor, a company we have already had a great experience with for my daughter's iPhone 5c accessories.

I am SO glad that we have the screen protectors, because little fingers are often dirty and can cause damage to the delicate Kindle Fire screen! I'm even a little embarrassed to show you this photo! But, kids will be kids, and Baby Girl did not ask before getting the Kindle Fire to play a game. She was a sneaky little tyke and started playing, with dirty fingers, and it came out looking like this:
Everything on the screen you see above is from messy toddler hands. No air bubbles, thanks to the helpful installation tips from Tech Armor.

Oh no! I let it dry, so that I could snap a shot of the mess. It happened to be some left over yogurt on her hands, which ended up all over the screen. Such a mess! I later took off the protector, and our Kindle Fire screen was untouched and just as good as new. Good thing that these protectors come in a pack of three!

Tech Armor has easy installation directions, as well as helpful videos that take you through the process step-by-step. They give tips for bubble-removal and best ways to prevent bubbles too. Check out all of the videos here.

The screen protectors that we received are anti-glare, and they work really well. We're really happy with the protectors, and I know where we'll recommend any friends needing these. =0)

What's more, Tech Armor has a Lifetime Replacement Warranty. They want your devices to be protected the Tech Armor Way. How awesome is that? It's a great value. You can protect your tech devices the Tech Armor Way and know that there's a lifetime replacement warranty to back up the products you purchase. It's piece of mind for you, and an honest commitment from them.

This company has seriously made a great impression on my family and me. I hope they will come out with the Ballistic Glass Screen Protectors for more devices too. They're the best. Tech Armor does carry products for other devices as well, including: Samsung, Apple, HTC and more. They also offer different types of screen protectors, such as: anti-glare, high definition clear and (our favorite) the ballistic glass. Plus, they offer cleaning kits to keep your devices spotless. All of these great products with free shipping as well - it's like a cherry on top of an ice cream sundae!

And you don't just have to take my word for it. You can also view more product reviews of their awesome products here.

Today is the LAST DAY to use the coupon code TAHOLIDAY to save 15% on your order. If you're in need of screen protectors for your tech device, I highly recommend to protect it the Tech Armor Way!

Disclosure: Tech Armor sent me a 3-pack of Kindle Fire HDX Antiglare Screen Protectors for the purposes of conducting this product review. I have not been compensated in any other way for this published post. All opinions are 100% my own. This disclosure is in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) 10 CFR, Part 255, Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.

G+ Growing Circles Hop #4

Are you frustrated with Facebook? Well then come and join us on Google+! Join us every Thursday at 8AM CST and grow your circles with us at the Growing Circles Hop.

Please read the rules as some have changed since last week!

Have you been using other social media sites to promote your blog and are frustrated with algorithms and reader engagement on those sites? Do you want to learn more about G+ and grow your circles? Then join us! Don’t be intimidated. G+ is new to most of us, so join us and we can learn and grow together.

To make the most of this link party, please follow the rules below.
1. You MUST add your hosts and co-hosts to one of your circles before linking up.
2. Link up your personal Google+ profile, blog or business G+ pages but NOT your blog URL.
3. Share ONE post ONLY - (new or old) on G+ and use the hashtag #GrowingCirclesHop.
4. Connect with others by clicking on your #growingcircleshop hashtag. Engage with at least 2-3 others - Share, +1 or Comment.
5. Add new friends to your circles.
6. Grab a button for your blog if you'd like. (You can edit size to fit your blog in the code).
Mommy Mentionables

Throughout the next 12 hours, check back on G+ and +1 posts with the hashtag #growingcircleshop.

Google+ Tips

The real participation comes with sharing a blog post to G+ using the party's hashtag and engaging with others who are also sharing posts from this party. Interaction and engaging with others on G+ will bring you the most success! You will notice some posts have a very large picture associated with their post and others have a tiny picture. To increase your chances of being shared, post a photo along with your post link and NOT the tiny one that gets posted automatically with the link. The bigger and more clear your photo, the better chance of it being shared because those are the posts that G+ users want to share with their followers.
If you want to co-host with us, send an email to 2justByou(AT)gmail(DOT)com with G+ Hop Co-Host in the subject line and your G+ link for consideration. For any questions about the hop, post them here so that we can get notification of your post. If you want to be notified the next time the Hop starts, give us your email below and we will send you a quick notification the next time it goes live.

It's time to announce the winner of the Smiles for the People Giveaway!

I am so excited to announce today's winner. Holly will be receiving a Smiles for the People sustainable toothbrush in her choice of color.

The company just launched their newest product yesterday (I saw it via Instagram). It's called the Smiles Pack and includes: a toothbrush in each of the four colors, a Smiles t-shirt and 10 mini-cards to help spread the word - all for one low, discounted price. Pretty awesome, right?

I'm still loving my current Vibrant Violet brush, but I'll be trying the Blizzard Blue one next! =0)

Whenever it's time for you to get a new toothbrush, keep Smiles for the People in mind. I'm so glad that I found the company and appreciate all they're doing to help make dental care reach those that need it most.

Q: If you could invent (something unusual) right now , what would it be?

I would invent a "makeup machine" that puts on a full face of makeup in seconds instead of the regular 30 minutes or so.

Maybe I would invent some kind of tiny machine to do ALL types of house cleaning for me. That would be awesome. Just set a cleaning schedule for it and then press the button "GO." A girl can dream...

I would invent a portable coffee a college student and coffee lover, it would be a lifesaver!

Noor :
I'd invent a robot who could do all kind of nail stuff, from pedicure menicure and nail art. Because I suck at nail stuff.

I would invent a car that can turn an aeroplane when I'm in mood of flying, turn into a submarine when I wanna hangout with fishes (don't count sharks in) and turn into a boat when I wanna have a trip to the sea!

Rhea :
An office chair teleporter - one click and I'm at work, another click I'm back home. No more dealing with traffic to and from work!

Because Jewelry is Always a Great Gift

Can you believe that January is almost over? Time seriously does fly right by, sometimes in the blink of an eye. I gave warning last week that I would be featuring lots of lovely jewelry eye candy until Valentine's Day, and I'm not slowing down yet. So let's begin...

Meet Ashly, owner and creator at Ash Ann Jewelry. You may have noticed her ad banner pop up on my sidebar over the weekend. She designs beautiful jewelry and specializes in custom and bridal pieces, but also creates unique pieces for everyday wear. Get to know her a little bit with our Question/Answer session!

What are your favorite materials to work with and why?
I enjoy working with glass pearls and chain. I love how chic the glass pearls look when combined with chain.

Do you have a favorite color combination?
Pink & Turquoise, Turquoise & Orange and Gold & Purple

Since Valentine's Day is coming up, what is the most memorable gift you've ever received on the holiday?
Almost every Valentine's Day my dad will buy me a sweet little gift. He usually will buy us girls (mom and sisters) a fake rose or a small teddy bear. I still have a small teddy bear and fake rose he bought for me several years ago. I am sentimental and it makes me smile when I look at it.

What is your favorite thing to do on a cold winter night?
Cuddle up in a fleece blanket and drink hot chai tea!

What is the first ever piece of jewelry that you created?
I can't remember the very first piece of jewelry, however I do recall creating my first challenging piece (Chic Bib Necklace). It consisted of me cutting fabric, sewing on beads and gluing. It took me several weeks to complete but l am pleased of how it turned out!

Ashly has a coupon code to share with my readers. Use coupon code FREESHIPPING14 to receive free domestic shipping on any order. Expires February 28th, 2014 (2/28/14).

Over the Weekend

We worked on some custom orders over the weekend, and I thought I'd share one from a couple of weeks ago. What do you think?

It's not too late to put in your order for Valentine's Day delivery either! Visit our shop and take a peek. We posted a newbie on our Instagram, and you can check that one out here. It's not in the shop yet, but if you like it, let me know and it's yours.

We updated our shipping prices to reflect the highly unwanted USPS shipping rate increases effective today. Boo...I know! To get more info on the rate changes, click here.

To help offset the increase, we're offering a discount for blog readers!
Use coupon code THX2U and save 10% all week.
Expires Saturday night, midnight, EST.

Here are some other Valentine's Day finds from Etsy that I'm personally loving.

Do you have any favorite typography prints and/or greeting cards for the big day?

We didn't watch The Grammys, but it recorded on the DVR, so we'll watch it later. I did cheat and look at a spoiler online...My prediction about Best New Artist was right. View the Winner's List here.

Hope you have a terrific Monday!

********* SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT *********

February 1st, I'll be changing our twitter handle to @2justByou, to better reflect our tweets. Our twitter isn't solely for our Etsy shop, so we thought the name change was appropriate. It was something I was undecided on for awhile, but we decided as a team to make the change. =0)

Sooo...What are your plans for the weekend? Are you watching The Grammys?
Who do you think will win Best New Artist? Based on other music awards shows, I'm going to guess it will be Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
