After the Storm

Yesterday was a little weird as far as weather goes. It rained a little bit, but not much. Clouds filled the sky, ranging from bright white to all kinds of gray, including almost black. And in the middle of those clouds, the sun was still trying to peek through. I took just a few shots, and they don't really do the sky scenery justice, but I thought I'd share anyway.

On my Weekend To-Do List...More Spring Cleaning. If you're following along on Instagram, you might have seen some of our donation bags waiting to be picked up yesterday. That was just the beginning! We'll be going through more clothes and more hidden nooks where all sorts of objects are just waiting to be found (and waiting to be donated).

I thought about having a huge yard sale, but...Nah! We'll donate it instead.

Do you donate old clothes and other household items to charity? How often do you go through your home finding things to donate?

I'm a sky watcher. Love watching the clouds change shapes and shades.
I donate and need to go through my closet real soon and do some more donating.

I have two big bags of clothes that I am planning on donating this year. I can't seem to bear to donate my shoes and my dresses though!

I have such mixed feelings about it when the sky goes to looking like that. It scares me but I'm also in total awe.

The clouds are so cool! It feels great to donate things. I'm excited about transitioning to self employment and donating tons of my wardrobe that I will no longer need. De-cluttering feels amazing too!

HI Kim,

Yes, we donate many things to Goodwill. I would like to find the shelter for women in our area and donate to them as well.

Love the cloud pics! We donate several bags of clothes to Goodwill or the Salvation Army a few times a year... it's how I can justify buying new clothes ;)

You got some great shots of the clouds! As for donating, we don't have Good Will type places but there are drop boxes here for clothing and that sort of thing, which we definitely use.

Last night I sat and watched the clouds after the sun set. They went from gray to fiery red to black. Who knew clouds had personalities LOL!

Cool collage! My mom and I usually organize by doing her community yard sale every year, then we take leftovers to local thrift store.
