Surgery for Spike

Pets can be healing. Pets are recommended to many people for health reasons, but they become companions, loved ones...Part of the family.

A friend of mine has a super cute yorkie named Spike. He's almost 10 years old, and she's had him since he was just a puppy. He now needs extensive dental surgery, because he has an infection that is affecting his eyesight. The surgery costs about $500, and we're trying to raise money to cover the procedure.

CLICK HERE to help Spike receive the treatment he needs.

CLICK HERE to read the full story about Spike on Lisa's blog post.

If you can donate just a few dollars, every little bit helps. If you can't donate, please spread the word via social media to help us reach our goal. He's in a lot of pain, and she needs at least $250 as a down payment for the vet. Any and all help is much appreciated.

If the full goal amount is reached, Lisa will be doing a drawing as a token of her appreciation. Prize(s) to be determined, as this is all spontaneous, and she is just simply trying to raise the money for Spike to get this surgery as soon as possible.

If you have any questions at all, please email Lisa. Her contact info is on the donation page

* Disclosure: This is a non-sponsored post, as I am just trying to help a friend in need. Thank you for letting me share with you, my readers.

Thank you so much Kim for this post. It means so much to my family and I. The time you've taken to put this together , the care and compassion you have shown us has been incredible. Words can't express how grateful we are to you for all your help in getting this together and promoted. You are truly a gift, and are appreciated more than we can say.

I woke up and see we are 20% of the way to our goal. I'm so happy. Thank you to everyone in advance who donates. Whether it's $5 , $20 m or more. Every penny counts, no donation is too small. Thank you in advance as well to those of you who help to promote this cause, leave hugs, and kind words on the page. Bless you all.... Have a great day!

Poor pup!! My cat needed surgery in February and it set us back two grand, so I know how stressful and expensive pet surgeries can get!

Good luck with the surgery and I hope it works out. I know what its like to have an older dog and how they can suffer sometimes.
