Be Kind {Words for my Wednesday}

I've been making it a point to take trips to the beach this year, because we haven't been to the beach in ages, and it's one of our favorite places to go. Not to mention - it doesn't break the bank!

At our recent visit to the beach, we picked up some trash around the BBQ areas that was left behind by other visitors. It's important to teach our kids that we need to protect our Mother Earth. Littering (anywhere) is just unkind. We need to take care of the earth and the ocean. They're important.

Remember that garbage in the ocean has terrible consequences for the animals that live there, and in turn, for us too.

So, wherever your travels may take you this summer season (if even to your neighborhood park or a walk around the block), please be kind to the environment. We thank you in advance. =0)

Yes! That's so great that you guys picked up the trash. I do the same thing. :)

Such a great thing to teach your kids! I should tuck a plastic bag in our beach tote and do the same.

I miss the beach- but I don't miss the trash that lazy people leave on it!

I work ten minutes from the beach and don't get there nearly as much as I'd like!

My family loves going to the beach too! Great idea to inspire the kids to respect the nature wherever they go.
