Monday Already?

Is it seriously Monday already - again? Sometimes the time just passes me by in what feels like the blink of an eye. No kidding.

If you're following me on Instagram, then you probably know that I'm participating in the #momentsphotochallenge for the month of July. I've been having a lot of fun with it, posting almost every day so far! I'm pretty proud of myself for that. ;)

Instagram is really micro-blogging at its best. Even though I may be a little more absent from the blog here due to summer and awesome weather (and time with the kiddos), I've been fairly good at keeping the Instagram feed updated. I'm finding it's really fun.

I really liked my post for Day 13 of the Moments Challenge for "lines" and wanted to share the message of that post here too.

And this was my caption:
There's something about a blank notebook...It's good to know that you can write your own story.
This is one of my fave notebooks. It has an inspiring quote at the bottom of each page.

I've never been the best at speaking my emotions. Sometimes when I'm talking, I just can't put what I want to say into words at that exact moment. Often times I end up silent because of this occurrence. But I can always seem to write what I want to say down on paper in a way that I can understand. If no one else understands my words, it doesn't matter, because I at least got them written down. I wrote my story.
Does this ever happen to you?

In other news...
Last week I was super excited to receive this notification from WeHeartIt:

That little notification is one that I'd never thought I'd see - ever! It was a great surprise, especially because I don't really focus on WeHeartIt since I use it for just fun.

And lastly, I wanted to share a couple of my favorite tweets of mine from the weekend. I had somewhat of a rough day yesterday, and these two tweets (and what they say) really came from my heart.

The first one is really something that I believe in. Always have hope, but expect the unexpected. You never know what life will throw at you. It's full of surprises. It really is.

I love the lemon saying, because people always say the first part, right? Well, not everyone has a taste for lemonade. I personally love the stuff, but some people hate it! What do they do when life gives them lemons? It's just something I always wonder when I hear the saying. =0)

Hope you're having a great Monday so far!
I'm trying to get my post published to share with you about our family's trip to SoCal. I've really been lagging on it, and my daughter pointed out that it's been six weeks already.
Man...Time...It really does pass by too quickly sometimes, doesn't it?

Very true about writing. It is always nice putting your thoughts and words to paper in a way you can understand. Nice quote about hoping for the best.

I am much better at putting my thoughts in writing than verbalizing them out loud. So I get it! Great quotes. :)

I have not heard the second part of that saying! :) I am often amazed when I learn the second parts of the sayings, that I never knew there were any :)

Writing is sure easier than saying! It is easy to fix mistakes, to change the wording and to remember where the thought started :)
