PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness {& Beauty Prize Pack Giveaway WINNER}

It's almost mid-month, and I hope we're all thinking PINK! Just because I support Eczema Awareness Month with all of my might doesn't mean that I forget about Breast Cancer Awareness in October.

It's crazy, because as a kid, I really hated the color pink. I mean, I wasn't a tom boy...so much. Although, I really did like playing with those metal tractors & dump trucks that belonged to my buddies and the dirt & mud. Oh, and mud pies? Yeah, just call me Queen! I wasn't so girly girl either. People always bought me Barbies and other dolls for birthdays and holidays. I rarely ever played with those. And I did NOT like it when everyone always gave me pink toys or pink clothes to wear (Ruffles, really? No thanks!). Really. But I reluctantly wore the stuff anyway and accepted Barbies with a smile. Seriously, though. There are more colors in the world besides pink and blue, or black and white. Am I right???

So anyway, enter Breast Cancer Awareness and the Think Pink campaign. I'm now a fan of Pink. Pink for a cause. Pink for Awareness. It's important. It's empowering. It's Girl Power. That says a lot. And I'm even slightly okay with some ruffles now. =0)

These are a couple of my favorite PINK pins from my Pinterest boards. Click the images if you'd like to RePin them to your boards.

This is one of the most re-pinned from my THINK PINK board.

And this bracelet is NOW available in our Etsy shop today (as seen via our Instagram). Click the image to see it in our shop!

Haha, you're so funny Kim! Now I know not to give you anything ruffly or pink ever! I'm not too much of a fan of pink either, but if it's to raise awareness on a topic that concerns pretty much half the population in the world, then I'm all for it.

I was much the same way growing up. I didn't like pink and wasn't a girly girl either. With an older brother, I much preferred his toys over mine :)
But now days, pink is it for me. When I hit my 20s, something switched and I loved pink. And it's great that it's and awareness color as well :)

Pink was my favorite color as a little girl and now I never, ever wear it - BUT I love the cause behind it! Thanks for sharing.

Lots of great stuff - I've always loved pink ;) My grandmother had breast cancer. She beat it and lived another 20 years, but it definitely took its toll on her.

I refused to admit loving pink until I got older. Now I wear it all the time, October or not. :D
