Strength & Gratitude {Words for my Wednesday} on a Friday

I wasn't ready for Halloween. And I'm REALLY not ready for Christmas. Especially because it's just the beginning of November. There's a whole month of gratitude that I'd like to enjoy.

Retailers are already busting out the Black Friday hype, and I understand that with social media and the Internet - it's kind of pushed us all ahead of things (to be prepared, or tons of other excuses, right?). And small businesses are gearing up for Small Business Saturday, our shop included. But still...Let's enjoy the rest of fall first!

I missed the Words for my Wednesday post this week, yet again. So here we are on a Friday, and I want to share a Words for my Wednesday post. Why? Because all month long I'll be sharing words, quotes and sayings about gratitude. I couldn't let the first week of November come and go without sharing some awesome gratitude quotes, now could I?

I've mentioned before how much I still love paper and pen, even with all the fun digital fonts and fun. Today's words are snapshots of my simple thoughts on paper, about strength and gratitude. I hope you enjoy them.

Do you have any favorite words, quotes, or sayings on the topic of gratitude?
Share them with me in a comment. Maybe I'll feature them for the next Words for my Wednesday post!

Love pen on paper...super neat!

Oh gratitude: unfortunately, hearing stories of loss, sorrow, tragedy often brings my plenty into sharp focus. I'm grateful for everything. EVERYTHING! life is so fragile, every friend, every loved one, every breath is precious.

I love these! And love that they're in pen on paper.

There's something special about pen and paper. It's just entirely yours and you can see more personality and emotion to the words than a font could possess. :) Thanks for the lovely words of wisdom!

It is super frustrating that Thanksgiving seems to get pushed out of the way by Christmas. While I love Christmas, Thanksgiving is a beautiful holiday and yes, we need more time to celebrate gratitude and appreciation for what we have.

Have a sweet day! - Miss Pineapple
