Dancing Witches

Happy Halloween, everyone!
Even though it came WAY too fast for me, I'm happy that it's Halloween (maybe it's because it's also Friday - who knows?).

I have some pretty awesome art to share with you today. Before last week, I had almost forgotten about Pinterest. Almost. And, by "forgotten," I really just mean that I hadn't been using it very much. I haven't been very active with any online activities lately. It's just that thing called life that happened to get in the way...

BUT, I started getting back to Pinterest more last week, because with fall season starting to show us more of its weather, I've been needing to find some fun recipes to play around with. And we all know how Pinterest is GREAT for recipes, right?

So anyway, as I was repinning my heart out...I decided to browse through my Halloween Spooks board, because - if you read my post from Wednesday (you can read it here), you'll know that it's all about the last minute fun this year!

I happened to find one of my very favorite Halloween pins - a pin from over two years ago, and Etsy find, called Witches Dancing Under the Moon. It's been repinned over 2300 times! Crazy, right? I love this art piece so much, and I decided to share it with you.

Click HERE to repin.

Visit this awesome Etsy shop and look at all the other great works of art. The shop is called Annya Kai Art. Meanwhile, here are some other great pieces from the artist that I found appropriate for Halloween.

The shop is full of vibrant colors and fantasy prints that are absolutely amazing. Which one is your favorite? Do you have any Halloween art or pins to share? Leave a link in a comment!

Halloween is Coming {Words for my Wednesday}

Confession: I am SO not ready for Halloween!!!

By now we usually already decorated the front porch (or at least have all the stuff to get it done), visit the pumpkin patch and have our pumpkins picked out, have costumes chosen and almost ready to go...

This year, none of that is the case! I'm just not ready for it at all. I'm not ready for the end of the year either. Christmas? Oh, please! Let's not go there! It's crazy to think that stores like Target and Walmart have the Halloween section on one aisle and on the other side of that same aisle - it's Christmas lights and decorations already. There's something definitely wrong with that picture, don't you think? But oh well. Such is the retail world...

So Halloween is only a couple of days away, and the only one with a costume is Baby Girl (Anna from Frozen, of course - and we're not counting little Miss Hello Kitty shown above, either). The rest of us are really gonna just wing it. But there's nothing wrong with that. =0)

Here are some fun words on Halloween for today!

It might rain here for Halloween, and we do need the rain. Hopefully it will be a good night for Halloween fun, though. There's always a Haunted House in our neighborhood, but we've never ever visited. Maybe this year is the year...

Do you have any spooky Halloween quotes or sayings you'd like to share? Please do with a comment!
And if you haven't joined us at the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop yet, hop on over! Check out my editor's pick for this week. ;)

Mosaic PINK Pendants {by Earth Mother Mosaics}

I had a rough weekend with two sick kiddos, and I got absolutely NOTHING done, but at least it wasn't at the same time. My son was sick Friday and started feeling better on Sunday afternoon, which was the exact time that my youngest daughter started feeling sick. Oh, the joys of "sharing," right? I just hope they don't share with anyone else.

Anyway, today I have something special for you all, introducing her new line of Think Pink mosaic art pendants, my blogger friend Cindy from Earth Mother Mosaics is guest posting to share with you her new pieces, part of her collection honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Be amazed by her talent and artistry!

"Think Pink" Mosaic Art Pendants

by EarthMotherMosaics

Found exclusively through my EarthMotherMosaics' Facebook Page - "Think Pink" Mosaic Art Pendants have been introduced. The campaign started this month to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month and will continue to run until the end of 2014.

There are 8 silver-plated pendants and 6 copper pendants available. All pendants are $30 a piece plus $5.95 shipping and come with a necklace. 15% of each sale will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation http://www.bcrfcure.org/ }.

Each pendant photo is numbered for easy identification when ordering and is approximately 1 inch round.

The silver-plated pendants are painted in bright pink, glitter and/or microbeads were sprinkled generously over the paint. Tempered or "crash" glass, was placed on top. There are 2 heart shaped pendants available in this style as well.

The copper pendants are made using a form of mosaic art called Pique Assiette. Broken china in shades of pink, red, green, blue and yellow were used. All pendants are grouted and sealed.

Message me any time to ask questions or to reserve one for yourself or a loved one. Please use the number associated with each pendant when ordering to ensure you receive the right one. Don't forget ... these make great gifts! 15% of each sale goes towards charity.

PayPal only. I'll send you an invoice through email.

Spread the word! "Think Pink"!!

Mention how you found us for a free gift with your purchase. Thank you!!
