Have you tried G+? {It's the #GrowingCirclesHop Party}

So, have you tried Google+ yet?
I mean REALLY tried it. If you have a blog, website or online shop you simply must develop a following on G+.

Quick side note from me: As many of my regular readers know, I've been away from my blog and most social media lately. Because of that thing called life getting in the way, I haven't been able to prepare our #GrowingCirclesHop parties like usual these past few weeks. So, our host Sinea from Ducks 'n a Row offered to pull our party post together for this week, and for that, I am grateful. I've got a lot going on right now, and it's really just so good to know that my blog besties really do have my back! I love Cathy (A Peek into my Paradise) and Sinea, and both of them have amazing blogs full of awesomeness.

We can say without a doubt that you WILL get more traffic to your posts, to your website, if you are actively engaged on the Google+ platform. It's truly not just social media, it's a TOOL.

"OK. OK. I believe you, but what do I do?"
  • Set up a Google+ account, if you don't have one. Do that first. You may want it to be associated with your own name, or you blog's name or both. Think about that for a minute and then get it done.
  • Now, it is very important to work consistently toward building your Google+ friendships (circles)  Our party will help.
  • Share your work on your page.
  • +1, comment and share others.
  • As you become more proficient, join some communities too.

This party is a GREAT place for you to come every week to build your circles (i.e. gain followers) and get your G+ posts boosted, too. Just make a note to come here every Thursday - or sign up to get an email when we go live! The Google+ Growing Circles Hop is live every Thursday from 9:00 am EST through Friday evening, around midnight.

If you would like to receive a reminder, sign up for the email list below as well!

Before we get started with THIS week's party...let's see some favorites from last week! Stop by and show 'em a little G+ love!

Now, let the party begin!

To make the most of this link party, please follow the rules below.
1. You MUST add your hosts and co-hosts to one of your circles before linking up.
OUR PARTY HOSTS:
Cathy  |  Sinea  |  Kim

2. Link up your personal Google+ profile, blog or business G+ pagesOR -- you can link up a specific G+ post of yours - but NOT your blog URL.
Note: If you want to post both of them, we're cool with that too! The only thing we ask is that you limit your post shares to one per blog/business page. We have no set limit for personal post shares, but please keep it to a reasonable number (preferably not more than 5 posts using our party hashtag).
3. Publicly share a post - (new or old) on G+ and use the party hashtag #GrowingCirclesHopSee note above for limit guidelines.
4. Connect with others by clicking on your #growingcircleshop hashtag, or enter "growingcircleshop" in the search box at the top. Engage with at least 2-3 others by a Share, +1 and/or Comment.
5. Add new friends to your circles! Be social. It's completely worth it!
6. Help us spread the word about this party so we can try for trending on Google Plus each week!
Check back on G+ and +1/comment on the party posts with our hashtag #growingcircleshop until Friday night.

LINK UP below!!! You can now link up your G+ profile page -OR- you can link up a specific G+ post that you've already publicly shared using our party hashtag!

Thanks for the link up. I'm still trying to figure out Google +. Can anyone tell me how to change my settings so that all my posts are "public" and not automatically "private?" I can't figure out how to change this setting, and my posts are all going up private.
