Words for my Wednesday: Kindness Matters {Plus a Target Gift Card #Giveaway, Ends 6/30}

Life is definitely full of its ups and downs. Through it all, kindness matters. And it matters a lot. It can really make the difference to someone who is barely holding it together. Believe me. I know.

I've been told many, many times that I'm a nice person. I'm kind. And sometimes I've even heard that I'm too kind. But, you know what? I'd rather be too kind than be the alternative. And if what goes around really does come back around, I'll take kindness and compassion over carelessness any day of the week.

So for today's late Words for my Wednesday blog post (better late than never, right?), I've rounded up a few quotes about kindness.
Because kindness matters.
Please don't ever forget that.

Too much kindness? No such animal. We all need it. And it does indeed benefit the giver as much as the recipient.
Mind you, when things have been tough it has been acts of kindness which have reduced me to tears. Weird but true.

I've definitely had one of those days when someone's kind words or actions made all the difference.

And to Elephant's Child... acts of kindness have led me to tears as well. SO if it's weird... than we both are, and I say weird rules! :0)

I couldn't agree more! Being kind and positive are a choice and will always make your life and the lives of those around you better!

Wouldn't the world be a lot better if there was more kindness? It doesn't cost a thing to say 'hello' to a stranger in the street, give a compliment or other small gestures, but they can have such a big impact!

Kindness really does make the world a better place, I just wish it happens more often!

Wonderful quotes! I like the idea of giving rather than waiting to receive. Though, we all have some moments when we need it...
Have a great day, Kim!

Agreed! It usually is a simple act of kindness that can put a smile back on my face on a rough day. If a stranger holds a door for me or says hello it makes a difference!

So true. I'm not sure what about kindness that just snaps you out of a bad day. lol. It's always important to be kind, not just for the heck of it, but because you'll never know who you're dealing with or what will happen to you. Kindness truly makes a huge difference.
