We're Fundraising with #CAStateFair

Planning on going to the California State Fair this year??? If you haven't purchased your tickets yet (better do it fast, gates open this Friday!), please buy and use Promo Code: CASTATEFAIR2015

With each purchase made using this code, my son's elementary school will receive $1 per ticket sold! If you get your tickets on or before July 9th, you also get the early bird discount price. Check it all out at the link below:

The state fair is super fun, and there's always so much to see and do there. We went back in 2012, and I blogged about it. You can see that blog post HERE. That was the year we were able to see brand new piglets!

Last year I blogged about our visit to the state fair too, and I showcased the Farm at the Fair. I love all those shots I took of the pretty flowers! And it's always fun to have the kids learn about all of the awesome agriculture of our golden state. The kids also enjoyed the Jack in the Box Freestyle Motocross Show, which will be back this year (and they're already excited to see the tricks those guys can do in the air).

If you're planning on going, here's a list of Promotional Days, which can also be found at the link above, all the way at the bottom:

PROMOTIONAL DAYS
Wells Fargo Kids Free and $2 Rides for All Tuesdays: July 14 & 21 – FREE admission for kids 12 and under and $2 rides for all ages.
Senior Savings Fridays: July 10, 17 & 24 – Discount admission of $8 for seniors 62 & better prior to 8:00 p.m.. Plus, seniors ride FREE on the Grand Carousel and the Giant Wheel.
Youth Leadership Day: Monday, July 13
Enjoy activities catered to our future leaders.
Military & Veteran Appreciation Day: Thursday, July 16 – FREE admission all day for military personnel with ID.
First Responders Appreciation Day: Thursday, July 23 – FREE admission all day for first responders with ID.

We usually try to go on at least one Wells Fargo Kids Free Day, because it's super helpful on the wallet.

So, if you're in California, or anywhere near during the dates of July 10 - July 26, visit the State Fair! There's always deep-fried food, fun carnival rides, and so much more. Maybe I'll even see you there!

Plus, remember my son's school promo code and use it as a hashtag on social media, especially twitter, because I'll be doing RTs as much as I can (use #CAStateFair2015, and you can also tag me if you want - twitter & IG: @2justByou). I'll be sharing tons of snaps when we go too, so be sure to add me on snapchat --->> username: twojustbyou!!!

What's your favorite thing about State Fairs?
Let me know in a comment!
And if there's something that you want to see from our family's visit this year, let me know, and I'll snap a photo for you!

You can visit http://www.castatefair.org/ and get all the details about what's happening this year.

I'm wondering if we'll get to see any baby animals this year. I also must say that I do want to try at least one deep-fried something too...I'm just not sure what yet! You only live once, so you might as well try the deep-fried fair food, right?!?

Fairs are so fun! I can't agree more about trying something deep fried. I always manage to leave fair grounds feeling fairly ill but with happy taste buds!

I used to go to fairs when my kids were little. I always loved to see the animals they would bring. Hope you have a great time there.
